Top 10 Tuesday: Books on my Fall TBR

Top 10 Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week the topic is books I want to read this Autumn:

1. Uprooted by Naomi Novik - I got this book from a goodreads giveaway and I can't wait to read it.

2. The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell - Cloud Atlas is one of my favourite books. My friend bought me The Bone Clocks for my birthday but I haven't found the time to read it.

3. The Great Detective by Zach Dundas - I am writing my EPQ (Etended Project Qualification) on Sherlock Holmes and I hope this will be of some help.

4. The Land of Stories: Beyond the Kingdoms by Chris Colfer - It's been so long since I had book mail so this made me super happy.

5. Chaos Walking: The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness - I've heard nothing but good things about this one.

6. The Strange & Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton - The cover is so beautiful.

7. Four Major Plays by Henrik Ibsen - Specifically, A Doll's House. We are studying it this year. I will have probably read it by the time this post goes up.

8. All My Sons by Arthur Miller - Another play we are studing.

9. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline - Many people have recommended it to me and I have it on my kindle so I think it's about time I read it.

10. Armada by Ernest Cline - I was over the moon when NetGalley approved me to read Armada - this is one of my Advanced Readers Copies I am really looking forward to.

There are also many free classics on my kindle such as A Picture of Dorian Gray and The Iliad that I plan on reading this year as well as a few more ARCs, but I really want to read the physical copies I own as I've mostly been on my kindle this summer.

Which one of these books do you recommend me to read first? Are there any others you think I ought to add to my TBR?

  1. You have to get to Ava Lavender! It's probably one of the most beautiful books I've ever read. It's just, ah I don't know how to explain it, but just know that i's gorgeous.

    1. Awesome! I scheduled this post a while ago so I actually read and reviewed the book just before it went up. This is the review if you need any further encouragement to read it: http://astronomicalbooks.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/book-review-knife-of-never-letting-go.html
